Thetrails into reverie trainer Elise GT1
was a race car developed by Lotus in the late 1990s that resembles the Elise road car in general look and shape, but sports a very different powertrain.
In place of the normal inline-four engine sits a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (a naturally aspirated version of which resides in
the C4-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
) that makes one hell of a sound. It isn't restricted by any sound muffling or emissions-related equipment, which means we get to hear everything.
